CHARACTER SUMMARY
Yu is a city kid who moved out to the country for a school year, shook hands with a goddess at the gas station, and gained the magical ability to stick his head inside a TV and summon a dozen different brain demons. Don't think too hard about it. He's quiet but charismatic, likes making friends, enjoys sticking his nose in other peoples' business, and can't resist investigating mysteries. He's fiercely loyal and treasures his friends, no matter how he met them. Underneath his cool exterior is a massive nerd who loves learning, builds model garage kits, likes cooking for his friends, and feeds stray cats.
As is par for the course with a silent protag, he's very good at listening and drawing out inner truths from people he meets. He's not very good at being open about himself, and prefers not to talk about himself if possible. Not because anything is a secret, but because other people are more interesting. As a chronic loner growing up, he's aggressively independent and used to looking after himself. Therefore, it can be difficult for him to ask for help, or to accept it when offered. This is something he's gonna have to learn.
