[A few seconds later, his Watch buzzes with a location in Early Bird Hall. Like most of her preferred places, it's more of a hole-in-the-wall food stall than any fancy restaurant. There aren't too many seats, but it's deep enough in the food hall itself that it usually isn't crowded when she goes.

Anyway, regardless of whether he wants to meet her Right Now or not, suddenly she's in the mood for curry, so she's on her way to get some for herself. The miracle of modern technology-! [Personality-wise, Yu prefers to arrive early for things. In practice, it takes almost the exact amount of time for him to navigate the halls enough to actually get there. (It doesn't help that he...avoids the elevators. this time.)

Yu manages --barely-- not to bump into anyone while he's looking back and forth between the stalls and the location info. But he does find himself peering into several different locations all clustered in the same area, looking for either the curry or for his wildcard companion.]

[It's not like she gave him a short time to intentionally knock him off balance, but if it has that effect, so much the better! It's funnier that way. Since she doesn't have to worry as much about getting lost, she's already waiting outside. Once they make eye contact, she offers a friendly wave to catch his attention, smile brightening visibly at the sight of him.]

[Their expressions are a mirror; his smile widens as they make eye contact, and it's hard to say whether it's an effect of her, or their shared wildcard status, or some combination of the two, but -- he's not complaining, either way. She's fun, and he's glad to have the chance to spend more time with her.]

Considering, [she echoes, her lips quirking into an understanding smile. Sure, it might not be fighting the end of the world, and she might not have been lying when she'd told Scott it felt like a vacation, but it's a lot in a different kind of way.

Of course, she doesn't say any of that, just shrugging and turning to lead the way into the little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It smells delicious, roasted meat and spicy broth permeating the air. She takes a seat at the counter and pats the stool next to her, clearly expecting Yu to sit.]

[It's not the first time he's marveled a bit that someone else Gets It, but somehow, it seems to hit every time as if the feeling is brand new.
